“You use that nickname and the phrase again and we might just have i s s u e s, your sister is right in the room next to us–”
Not that William minded. He could get Dipper to be as loud as he pleased simply to agitate Mabel, though he did like not having her on his ass about “disrupting” her.
✰ “Oh no you don’t! You’ve been hiding behind curtains for how long now? Then think you can just stroll on in with your fancy get-up like you own the place? Sorry,Dipperbut me and Paz have taken over this here town, one heart at a time.”
“Oh dearest Gideon, I’m so glad to hear that. Honestly am, that just will make it all the more tragic when you and Paz get into a terrible accident and they find your mangled bodies~”
“ Ugh. But going with William is so boooring. He does nothing but crying and complaining: he embarass me everytime we are at the mall.”
” What if, you come with me this time & I promise that I’ll try to be more interested when it comes of your precious Journal? After the shopping trip we could visit that hovel and steal it from my cutie pie. Isn’t this the best plan e v e r ? “
“Thats because William is terrified of you.” not to mention that the demon was a crybaby anyways. “I cannot help that you do not have people to go with you besides William- I am a performer not a shopper.”
Dipper knew when he was in a losing battle. She would probably not leave him alone until he agreed, or start pouting in that way that would make him agree anyways. “Fine, I will go with you if it makes you happy.” he replied, rolling his eyes slightly as he did.
If you want more you should just give yourself up to some demon that would take you and give you purpose- make you a slave or something, something better than a shadow of someone who doesn't even love you. You're holding her back, isn't it time to let her go?
The words shattered him, they were meant to smack him down and it worked. It left the psychic shivering, his eyes wide as tears gathered.
“I-I know…they all deserve better…I…” his voice cracked down into quiet sobs of pain.
William heard the sobbing, he’d recognized the quiet sounds by now. This wasn’t the first time Dipper had broken down. Pausing what he was doing, he headed into the room where Dipper was and scooped up the boy, settling down with him in his lap, cradling him.
“What’s wrong? Are they still bothering you?”
Dipper heard him coming in and almost stood to leave, but before he could he was in the demon’s lap. The boy tensed up and seemed like he was going to pull away but did not have the strength to do so. He was so tired, so upset, everything was terrible.

You on the other hand were always stuck in the corners like the pathetic shadow you are. Its alright though, someone will eventually come and take you away, then maybe you can be worth more than just a shadow of your 'darling' sister. She is everything you cannot be though, isn't she? She is perfect and shining while you are worthless and dark. But not everyone has to think that way... you want more, don't you?
